Beijing Forestry University is one of the key national forestry institutes in China. It is directly administered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. For decades’development and contributions made by generations of people, BFU has grown from a forestry faculty into a multi-disciplinary university with the orientation in forestry, biology and forestry engineering, together with a wide range of courses in sciences, engineering, management, economics, liberal arts, law, and philosophy fields. Besides undergraduate, graduate and doctoral education, her personnel training system also develops the continuing programs and international programs. Up till now there are 50 undergraduate subjects offered by 12 schools, 73 graduate disciplines and 35 doctoral disciplines.
